Climate Project Slideshow
8 p.m. Nantucket Atheneum Great Hall, 1 India St. Global warming is real, its impacts can already be seen and America needs to take action now to confront the climate crisis. Keith Bergman was among the first 50 people trained by former vice president Al Gore and his nonprofit, The Climate Project, to present the slideshow on global warming featured in “An Inconvenient Truth.” Free.

She has written biographies of Yasar Arafat and Gertrude Bell, as well as the novel “Seraglio.” $15 admission ($10 for students and senior citizens).
